Hello everybody! This is the process of the piece I made for DrawWithJazza’s contest, the theme for this contest was Isolation! I really wanted to take a different turn on this one, because when you normally think of isolation you think of sadness or closing yourself. A definition of isolated was to be far away. These made me think of monks who go to faraway lands to meditate and think about life. I wanted to make this piece relatable so I thought of the theme of finding yourself through isolation. Something lots of people do is to travel solo. This is the point of this illustration! A girl traveling long distances until she finds the thing she was looking for, self discovery
